I know I have been hyping this up for the past few months, but I really cannot believe that my first craft fair of the season is here! I have a few different ones on the books for this month and I cannot wait to get my first one under my belt! Indiemade Craft Market 2022

Indiemade Craft Market - Here I Come! December 3, 2022  Starlite Ballroom at Fearless Fire Co.  Allentown, PA Last year I had the privilege as a crafter just starting out to get accepted to the Indiemade Craft Market and to say that it was my favorite fair that I was apart of last year would be an understatement. These amazing organizers were warm, encouraging and made the entire event such a fun and celebratory experience. I met so many other crafters and I cannot wait to meet more this year!   Make sure to mark your calendars and get ready for a fun day full of amazing crafters and holiday fun! There are raffles, giveaways, and even a swag bag for those lucky enough to get in first. I can't wait to see all of you there!

AUGUST

The heat! Oh Lord, the heat! We're now in the final days of summer and I personally cannot wait for the crisp days of fall to come my way, but until then, I will pull on my many years of experience living south of the Mason Dixon line and muddle through. Aqua Zumba at my local community pool is a delightful distraction, as is wading in the creek with my niece on her farm. Projects you say? I don't know if you know this but one of the best ways to survive the heat is to sit in an air conditioned room and crochet. And that is exactly what I plan on doing for most of this month. Mostly because when the thermometer flirts with 80F I automatically break out into a sweat, but also because I need to get all this yarn out of their balls, skeins and cakes and into some amazing cozy items for you to see and buy in September when I start my craft fair appearances! Stay tuned to my social media for announcements!  It's too hot to be in the kitchen! Don't I know it! I have been put...

Craft and Vendor Fair Info Sheet - Free Download!

Hello Cozy Crafters!  I know that I'm posting about craft fairs a bit these days, but let's be honest, it's the place that we get to see what other artists are doing and where we can get real-time feedback about what is liked and not liked in person.  I know that for me, getting all the information together to keep track of the fair I was preparing for was rough and I just wanted all the information on a single piece of paper that I could look at and have on hand for reference the day of.  After taking a look at the different info sheet templates out there, I came up with my own. It just suited me better with the placement and the type of information that I needed for me and my craft fair planning needs. Feel free to download this pdf double-sided sheet version of this template. I know that it has helped me a TON this year with getting organized and keeping my craft fair buddy updated and in the loop. Let me know what you think!  FREE TEMPLATE HERE

JULY

Christmas in July Sale I know, I know... it's cliché but it's fun! Who doesn't want to think about the nice cool weather in the middle of some of the hottest days of the year? I know that I'm biased as I sell cozy items that keep you nice and toasty in the middle of winter, so I won't judge if summer is your favorite season. But what better time to start stocking up for all those holiday gifts you're going to need to get!  I have been working my butt off going through and photographing my inventory and I can't believe that I still haven't gotten all of it up! There are so many items, and I keep making more! Feel free to let me know what you like, what you don't, and what would be the perfect gift for someone if it were only in a different color... I will be going live with the stock around the 15th in it's own post, but make sure you check out my socials to see it all happen as I rediscover it!  Commissions are Open! It took me a while to finish ...

5 Things I Learned From My First Year of Craft Fairs

Hello, my Cozy Crafters!  As I'm gearing up for my local fall craft fair circuit I thought I'd share with you some things that I learned last year doing only half a dozen craft fairs, that I am implementing this year for myself.  I have to admit that taking the plunge into selling your wares at a craft or vendor fair can be nerve-wracking and terrifying but, in my experience, it has been beyond rewarding. And I do not, by any means, think this is a complete list, or that this list is final. Everyone has different needs, organizational styles, and reminders because everyone is different, and the craft you sell may require more or less from you.  Regardless, here are a few things that I learned last year and how I am working them into this year's plan. 1. Doing craft and vendor fairs solo SUCKS! Last year I had just moved to the Lehigh Valley, and I had not built a good following or support system, but I knew that I had too many crochet items to share with the world to just...

JUNE

Hello everyone! I'm so excited that you've stopped by. I know that I haven't been the best about updating this site, but it is a work in progress, like most of my crochet projects! I intend to do better about keeping this site up to date and am working on implementing a more regularly scheduled program.  But here's where we're at at the moment!  New Logo, who dis? I know that I have been a bit inconsistent with my "branding" but part of being a small business that sells crafty items means you get to be crafty and do crazy fun things! I have now settled (at least temporarily) on a logo and color scheme that I really love and I hope you do too! Fingers crossed it lasts longer than my previous iteration - or maybe it won't! I guess we'll have to see how long the business cards last!  Craft Fairs you say? If you have been following me since last year around this time, you will note that I had my first "real" craft fair in the month of June ab...
