2024 Update!

Hello everyone!

I know it's been awhile since I updated everyone on what was happening with Shirley Grand, and it's probably been even longer since I posted or shared anything on my socials as well, so I thought I'd give you a general update on things!

This past year has been super busy for me in other areas of my life. For instance, I directed a community theater production of Kiss Me, Kate! that took up an immense chunk of my time from March through the first part of August.

It was a joy to get to lead and learn from all the amazing artists and technicians that were a part of this production, in total we numbered over 50 and it was a crazy experience leading and guiding so many people to create a common goal and tell a fun and touching story.

But what about Shirley Grand Crochet?!

At the end of last year, my office held a drive for the less fortunate in my area and I donated most of my hats, scarves and other cozy items since they were taking up space, and I would rather they keep someone warm, rather than collect dust in my apartment.

My stock went from 4 giant tubs of completed items down to 3/4 of one overnight. So I'm on a bit of a mission to get as many items completed in the next few weeks before my first show of the year!

Yes! I'm still doing shows! In fact, I have two lined up! One in September and another in October! I'll keep you posted on any other shows that get added but keep an eye on my Facebook and Instagram to get the best and most accurate updates!

Options, options, options!

Since it's been so long since I sat and did a big "stitch and bitch" with some friends. I am hoping to get one happening soon. But since I need to replenish my stock I thought I'd ask...

What do you want to see me make?

I will have a poll up on my socials shortly with options of past items, and, of course an option for you to write in something you don't see listed!

And... Thank You!

I know that it's been awhile, but thank you for being faithful and supportive through all of the changes that happen in a small handmade's business life! As we all know, life likes to throw curveballs, and having the grace to allow that to happen and giving yourself time to recover is one of the great balances that life needs in general.

Thank you for your support and your patience. Now... back to the crochet!!
